Rhonda Epps

CEO and Co-Executive Director

Rhonda Epps is the visionary CEO and Co-Executive Director of Flourishing Life Youth and Family Services. With a rich background as an educator for 15 years, Rhonda transitioned into leadership driven by a deep passion for making a tangible impact on at-risk youth, adults, and families. Her unwavering commitment to fostering positive change in the community serves as the foundation of Flourishing Life’s mission.

Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Norfolk State University, a Master of Education in Reading from Regent University, and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech. These academic accomplishments have equipped her with the expertise to guide the agency’s vision and development of impactful services. Under her leadership, Flourishing Life has become a beacon of support, providing comprehensive care that empowers individuals to achieve their fullest potential. Rhonda envisions the agency as a transformative force in the community, continually adapting to meet the evolving needs of those it serves.

Rhonda’s dedication to making a lasting difference is reflected in every aspect of her work—from creating supportive environments to fostering meaningful connections with individuals and families. She deeply believes in the power of empathy and the importance of offering holistic care that nurtures emotional, mental, and social well-being.

In her personal time, Rhonda enjoys creating memories with her family, engaging in crafting projects that ignite her creativity, and exploring her love for music. Her life is a testament to the impact of leadership fueled by passion, dedication, and a profound desire to inspire change.

Dominique Bonner

Licensed Professional Counselor

Dominique Bonner is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor and co-owner of Flourishing Life Youth and Family Services. Motivated by a shared vision with her partner Rhonda Epps, Dominique joined the organization to drive positive, lasting change for at-risk youth, adults, and families in the mental health field. With over a decade of experience, Dominique has developed a deep expertise in Intensive In-Home and Mental Health Skill-Building Services. Her professional journey includes roles as a QMHP C/A and clinical supervisor, overseeing programs such as Intensive In-Home, Mental Health Skill Building, and Therapeutic Day Treatment, while also providing outpatient therapy to adolescents, women, and families.

Dominique specializes in helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, communication issues, self-esteem, infidelity, trust rebuilding, mid-life crises, sexual identity/orientation, and divorce/separation. Her client-centered approach focuses on personalized support and strategies that promote healing, resilience, and growth. Dominique holds a B.A. in Sociology, an M.A. in Urban Education: Community Counseling, and an Education Specialist degree, all earned from historically Black colleges and universities, Norfolk State University and Hampton University.

With a passion for facilitating meaningful transformation, Dominique finds deep fulfillment in helping her clients overcome obstacles, build stronger relationships, and reclaim their personal strength. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can express themselves openly, fostering an environment rooted in trust, empathy, and empowerment. Her strength-based approach helps clients harness their innate abilities to create lasting positive change.

Outside of her professional life, Dominique enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and reading, continually seeking inspiration to enrich both her personal and professional growth.
